The hotel was nice, we liked its incredibly welcoming stuff. Location: the property was close to shops in onsen, a drugstore and trains have a better chance of departing. Shibu Onsen district was worth exploring...

The location here is truly amazing, situated in a prime spot near Yudanaka / Shibu Onsen, a great place for skiing, and Checkers, a nearby spot to grab a bite to eat.

It was just off Yudanaka/Shibu Onsen, stunning location overall. It also was in the restaurant of the structure where the atmosphere was very enjoyable.

Suminoyu is a lovely property situated in the charming Shibu Onsen district. the hotel staff is very attentive and friendly. Its location near the snow monkey park is beautiful and perfect.

The hotel was lovely and tidy with authentic views of the village. the staff was extremely helpful and attentive. the rooms were brand-new. the location was best possible and quiet, near the Monkey Park and train station. the restaurant of the structure was convenient. Everything was simply lovely.

I loved my very relaxing stay at Suminoyu in Yamanouchi. the hotel's location was perfect and handy, being so close to both Yudanaka and Shibu Onsen. the atmosphere in the restaurant and park was very enjoyable.

The japanese-style room had a comfortable bed, an electric kettle, central heating, and a TV, and the luxury outdoor bathroom was fantastic.

The staff here were very friendly and polite.

The value for the money at Suminoyu was great, the room was comfortable and had a nice view. The location was convenient and the staff was extremely attentive and caring.

As for breakfast choices, I wish there were more variety to choose from.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even offering us a special bottle of sake to celebrate our honeymoon. The rooms were beautifully maintained and had a relaxing Traditional Japanese Ryokan atmosphere. The breakfast provided was outstanding, with delicious local produce. The attention to detail and value for money were exceptional.
